Micah Cash
Project Consultant
Micah Cash is an accomplished nonprofit strategist and educator who brings two decades of successful arts nonprofit and higher education experience to the RSC team.
Cash has worked with organizations throughout the arts and culture sector, including art museums, history and folklife institutions, and performing arts organizations. In addition, he has taught at the University of Connecticut, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Wingate University.
At RSC, Micah applies his classroom experience to fundraising best practices. He combines the mentorship and accessibility of a professor with the strategic and data-driven analysis of a fundraising professional to help clients grow their donor base and achieve immediate results.
In addition to his professional experience, Micah is an accomplished visual artist and has published two photography books. He exhibits throughout the United States and his work is collected globally. He has been a Board member for the Society for Photographic Education and has served on a variety of grants juries and civic arts and culture committees. He is also the co-director of the Queen City Zine Festival in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Micah received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and his bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Art History from the University of South Carolina.
